Angle Trowels & Tools

We offer a range of tools for corner work, including the standard internal and external corner trowels. These vary in size from 2-4'' and are all produced from stainless steel, meaning they are rust free. We also have an adjustable angle corner trowel that allows for use on a variety of splayed internal angles, which can be easily adjusted by the loosening of a wing nut

The adjustable square and angle tool is ideal for use on reveals and window frames. Both the adjustable angle corner trowel and square and angle tool are manufactured from stainless steel meaning they are rust free
Ashlar Tools & Harling Trowels

These tools are for use on external renders

The ashlar cutters are used to create recessed joints and profiles to replicate the appearance of traditional ashlar masonry and ground floor elevations

The stainless steel harling trowels are for throwing spar dash and pebble dash onto newly applied sand and cement renders
Brushes

The Refina water brushes are available with either a wooden or plastic handle in widths of 4", 5", 6" or 7''

Produced with natural or mixed bristles these brushes are used for applying water or wetting down plaster before the final sponging or trowelling

The bucket brushes are available with wooden handles in two different lengths with either plastic or natural bristles. The stiff bristles will help to remove material from your equipment and prolonging the life of your tools

Stipple brushes made with rubber stipples for texturing ceilings with swirl finishes, patterns & textures
Bucket & Square End Trowels

The Refina bucket trowels are produced in stainless steel and are available to a range of sizes from 6" - 10"

They have long straight sides to help load the mix onto the trowel and clean the bucket of residue

Heavy duty gauge stainless steel bucket trowels, fully welded and ground finished like a brick trowel for rigidity and durability

The Mack bucket scoop is produced with a long handle to allow for easy reach into the bucket corners and to reduce back strain. The scoop is approximately one hawk load
Coving Trowels

The corner, cove and edging trowels are all produced in stainless steel and have traditional wooden handles

The cove trowels are for producing smooth corners particularly in hygienic environments; the mitred corner cove trowels are for making consistent corner
cove. For use on epoxy screed coves, gutters and grooves in concrete and edging slabs and stairs
Hand Sanders

Abrasive hand held sanders for removing paint and coatings

Tungsten discs, velcro backed for aggressive removal

Pole sander with velcro backed discs and long reach handle for sanding and smoothing walls & ceilings, rubbing down drywall and tapered joints, cleaning walls, floors and ceilings
Hawks & Handboards

Refina plastic hawk with integral handle for use alongside a finishing trowel to apply plaster. Can be used for various applications to assist with laying on materials including jointing compound and mortar
Levellers, Fresnos & Squeegees

Refina has a wide range of flooring tools

The pin leveller uses a set of hardened pins with an adjustable stainless steel plate to gauge and level floor toppings and coatings. The pins will wear down with regular use and the pin bar is easily replaceable.

The skid leveller has the same adjustable stainless steel blade but also two end anchor type skids. It is more suitable for working on rough and uneven floors

The hook leveller uses rounded loop shaped pins to run over the floor surface

The notched levellers are used for pulling out floor surfaces to a precise depth and for putting down scratch coats

The fresno trowel is produced from rust free stainless steel and is used to give a trowelled and smooth finish

The squeegees are produced with a heavy gauge steel frame and replaceable rubbers

The comb rake has a heavy gauge steel frame with a replaceable stainless steel 18mm toothed blade
Notched Trowels

The notched trowels come with replaceable steel notched blades in various shapes and sizes

The notched spatulas have stainless steel blades

Notched trowels and spatulas are specifically designed for scooping, spreading and levelling finishing adhesives and mortars during floor, wall or ceiling installations
Plaster & Cement Trowels

These trowels are premium quality trowels for the plaster, rendering and cement trades. They are made from the finest and flattest chrome stainless steel for rust free use, manufactured using the most modern production techniques and hand finished to ensure the finest trade quality trowels.

Our SUPERFLEX trowels have a high grade stainless steel flexible blade, alloy frame and moulded soft grip handle. These trowels are lightweight and easy to use on multi-finish, skimming and board finish plasters

The narrower SUPERFLEX2 trowels have a 4¾" wide blade and a longer bracket which makes the blade slightly stiffer. They are produced with a fine grade stainless steel blade

The SUPERFLEX 3 trowels are produced with a 0.5mm gauge blade giving more rigidity along the blade
Plastic Trowels & Floats

The original PLAZIFLEX range of plaster finishing trowels are manufactured in the UK. We introduced the PLAZIFLEX back in 2010 and it has continued to be a trade favourite ever since

These PLAZIFLEX skimming trowels are for finishing, final trowelling and polishing Multi-finish plasters. They are lightweight and easy to use leaving an excellent finish on the final trowelling

There are two types of PLAZIFLEX trowels.
The trowels with a flexiback design are produced with a 1.0mm black plastic blade and are the most flexible in the range

The flatback design are produced with either a 1.5mm black plastic blade (semi-flexible) or 2.0mm plastic blade (semi-rigid)

Our range of plastic trowels and floats also includes textured ABS floats, PU plastic floats, darbies and hawks plus ABS diamond faced plastic floats for finishing finishing renders

Polishing Trowels

REFINA polishing trowels are produced from a special non-marking stainless steel. They have rounded corners and chamfered blade edges. They are designed for use with Venetian plaster and micro cements. straight, tapered and trapezoid styles available in different sizes

They are used for burnishing and trowelling up and for the application of marble grain polished plasters. Trowels for Italian type plasters tend to be smaller than standard plastering trowels for the final application, polishing and burnishing of polished plasters, lime based and stucco plasters
Rollers & Frames

New HUDS REFINA PortaRoll 22” heavy duty flooring roller, ideal for ensuring optimal adhesion when laying uncoupling membranes and also suitable for laying vinyl flooring

REFINA lo-fluff flooring rollers produced from fully bonded nylon with minimal fluff for use on epoxy top coats

Multicoat black plastic loop rollers for applying synthetic plasters, jointing compounds, micro cement, external coatings and textures

Stipple and burnhole rollers for use on top coat renders and external coatings

Push on single arm roller frames and heavy duty double arm frames
Scratch Floats, Scrapers & Rasps

Large sized hand rasps are used to key back aircrete blocks for external insulation. They can also be used for sanding down sheets of insulation

We offer a wooden board sander that has replaceable coarse grit sheets as well as a plastic rasp for similar uses

There is also a harder wearing tungsten rasp for a longer life tool
Small & Detail Tools

Our range of small trowels and margin trowels come in a variety of shapes and sizes, all of which are produced from stainless steel, meaning they are rust free

These tools are ideal for finishing tight areas as well as detail and cornice work. All of these tools are manufactured with a soft moulded handle for added comfort
Spatulas & Knives

REFINA has a wide range of spatulas and knives

The roll grip spatula-rules have a lightweight plastic frame and a 0.4mm thick stainless steel blade

The ergo grip spatula-rules have a 0.3mm flexible blade. The Refina spatula-rules are used for finishing and smoothing both walls and ceilings of plaster and special finishes

Aluminiun framed spatula knives with stainless steel blades are lightweight to use and have flexible and stiff blade options

Rubber wipe down & joint blade for use on angular, rounded & hard to reach areas is lightweight to use and can be use hand held or with an extension pole

Spiked Rollers & Shoes

REFINA spike rollers are available with individually rotating discs or fixed discs and from 6" to 30" in length. 15mm and 40mm spiked lengths available

These spiked rollers are for rolling out air bubbles, levelling and moving cementitious floor coatings, epoxies and self-levellers

Spiked overshoes available with flat or pointed studs to wear whilst working with spiked rollers
Sponge Floats

REFINA wide range of sponge floats with different densities and sponge and a selection of sizes for smoothing plaster and cement surfaces

Rubber sponge floats are used to open up the surface before final finishing and they help to remove trowel marks and air pockets from sprayed plaster

Hydro sponge floats for sponging grout surfaces when tiling

Round plastic float with 25mm white foam sponge used for jointing
Straight Edges, Levels & Darbies

REFINA range of aluminium straight edges and screed rules up to 3m in length

Trapezoid, h section, I beam section and box rules for levelling plaster & render, wall & floor surfaces They help to identify hollows and high spots before sponging and trowelling up

REFINA supply a range of trowel holders to help protect and prolong the life of your trowels, available in leather or canvas and up to 18" in length

The WRAP 'N' ROLL canvas multi-trowel holder can fit up to three trowels. It has strong buckle fasteners and carry handles and can be folded to go in to a bucket or can be hung from the two corner eyelets

Our heavy duty tool cases can hold a variety of spatulas, trowels and hand tools. These cases are ideal for protecting your SuperSkim spatulas available in sizes 32" and 45"
