DSE 162 2 Speed 2200w Dry Soft Percussion Diamond Drilling Unit
The EIBENSTOCK DSE 162 is a powerful percussion core drilling unit designed for dry drilling hard materials where traditionally only wet drilling was feasible either handheld or rig mounted. Paired with EIBENSTOCK IHT soft percussion drill bits, this diamond drilling unit is capable of dry drilling through reinforced concrete, while the operation switch allows for wet diamond coring resulting in the perfect problem solver for multiple environments. The DSE 162 is packaged with a BST 162H drill rig for easy surface mounting and secure and accurate drilling.
What is Impact Hybrid Technology (IHT)?
High precision toothed ring geometry gearing that enables high frequency impact impulse output – a soft
impact feature for high-capacity drilling in hard materials.
EIBENSTOCK ESD and DSE diamond core drills and units are equipped with an innovative soft vibro-percussion function for dry coring in hard brick, abrasive damp blocks and reinforced concrete.
The ESD and DSE range of soft percussion drills and units are used where wet drilling is not feasible or the ease of dry drilling is preferred.
These versatile drills can be used without the percussion function for dry drilling in softer materials including brick and blockwork. When coupled with a dust extractor vacuum, drilling is dust-free.
The ESD and DSE drills and units should be used with specialist percussion core bits for optimal drilling performance.
