Plastic faced trowels are used for finishing top coat renders or internal decorative coatings. The trowels can differ by grain size and flexibility and are useful for avoiding surface discolouration and blade transference that is commonly associated with the use of steel trowels
We also offer a solvent resistant trowel that is ideal for use on white cement and render, but also epoxy and resins. The plastic trowel can offer a different finish to that of the steel trowel, which makes them useful for special finishes with external render

Plastic floats can be used for the application of hardwall and backing plasters. We offer a large range of shapes and sizes in both the diamond faced float, used for backing coats and the cross grain float for use with sand and cement. These lightweight floats are non absorbent and are ideal for a matt finish before the top coat.

We offer an extensive range of sponge floats for plaster and cement surfaces. They differ both in terms of size and the coarseness of the sponge, be it fine medium or coarse. The sponge float is perfect for smoothing plaster and cement surfaces as it opens up the surface before the final finish and can help remove trowel marks
This range also includes our new 'Clik-Clak' sponge float, which allows the user to buy a kit of 3 sponges with a handle to easily change between the different types of coarseness or replace a worn sponge. The sponge float is now an essential part of the plastering tool kit.
